Dutchman Dana 44 & 60 inner & outer front axle shafts are now available 2 ways. Your choice of Import or Domestic thru hardened "chrome-moly" (4340) material.
Import means the forgings came from off shore, resulting in an economical choice if the ultimate in strength is not needed. Domestic means the forgings came from Foote Axle-right here in the USA.
Whatever form of offroading you’re involved in; Desert racing, mud bogging, rock crawling, or just simple trail riding, a Dutchman 4340 front shaft will get you home or help win the race.
-Forged from premium aircraft quality 4340 “Chromoly” material.
-Double heat treated; Thru hardened ears and shaft with induction over the entire shaft area.
-Reinforced (thicker) yoke/U-Joint ears.
-Yoke ears machined to accept full circle snap rings.
-Accepts Spicer or any aftermarket brand U-Joint.
Dana 44 shafts are machined for the larger 1 3/16” dia. U-Joint cap. Spicer part #’s 5-297x & 5-760x
Dana 60 shafts are machined for the 1 3/8” dia. U-Joint cap. Spicer #’s 5-332x, & 5-806x

New and ONLY at Dutchman, we now offer a “warranty purchase” program on Dana 44 import & domestic, and Dana 60 import inner/outer shafts. Dana 60 x 35 spline domestic inner/outer shafts still carry our “limited lifetime” replacement policy against breakage (no warranty purchase needed). Warranty purchases apply only IF purchased at the time of the original axle purchase. Warranty exclusions include; broken yoke ears due to U-Joint failure, stretched or warped yoke ears, and improperly installed U-Joints. This Policy applies to the original purchaser only. The axle(s) must be returned with the original DMI invoice and be shipped “freight prepaid” by the customer (NO COD’s). The return freight (from DMI) is not included in the warranty replacement policy.
